Joey Burton, National Membership VP (2011-2013)

Joey Burton has worked since 2008 as the Director of Research and Operations at the Center for Population Economics at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.  He has been with the Center as a research manager and as managing director since graduating from BYU’s MPP program in 2002, conducting and overseeing research in population health and economic demography.

Joey is a 1998 Political Science graduate of BYU, and holds Master’s degrees in Public Policy (BYU, 2002) and Business Administration (University of Chicago, 2011). He has served for the past 2 years as the president of the BYU MPP Alumni Association.

Joey and his wife, Dicy (BYU, BA 1996; MBA 2000), who works for the Wrigley Company, live with their 3 children, aged three months to three years, in Chicago.
